Electric Bikes (eBikes) have literally taken off like a rocket in 2020 and this continues to increase in 2023.
eBikes come in all styles that you are currently familiar with in pedal bikes, fold-up, mountain bikes, fat tire bikes, commuter bikes and the list goes on
They come in all price ranges from below $300 for basic predominately kids models. I would suggest starting at around $1,000 for commuter models then going up to totally professional units for around $2,500 and more
They can be used for commuting, exercising, weekend rides with family and friends. Electric mountain bikes are awesome for riding over very rough and hilly terrain. It is quite amazing to see the number of traditional mountain bike riders who have moved on from multi-geared 18 speed mountain bikes to electric mountain bikes
eBikes give the same benefits as normal bikes, better health from exercising, riding with friends, neighbors and your kids. They remove some of the other issues that have become an excuse for not getting back into bike riding. Strong wind in your face, steep hill, no problem. If you have health issues, such as difficulty breathing when exercising, or sore joints or knees that limit your mobility to ride a traditional bike.
Then an electric bike is the answer
